The Multiplier Event for the Erasmus+ BioPest Guardians project took place on November 15, 2025, at the ValyTer Eco-Village. The event brought together approximately twenty adult participants, along with several children, creating an inclusive and dynamic environment that fostered the exchange of experiences among farmers, WWOOF hosts, and members of the local community. The main objective of the event was to present the project's results and facilitate access to training resources related to biopesticides and biological pest control.
The day followed the structure established in the official agenda, beginning with the reception and introduction of participants, followed by a brief presentation of WWOOF Spain and the role of Erasmus+ projects in promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The core content of BioPest Guardians was then presented, highlighting the usefulness of the materials produced for training in organic farming, integrated pest management, and the safe use of biopesticides, along with a series of questions presented within a Kahoot to make the presentation more engaging and dynamic. A practical demonstration of how to access these resources through the LLOOF platform followed, allowing attendees to familiarize themselves with the tools and ensure their future implementation in educational activities and real-world farm settings. The event concluded with a communal meal that strengthened the sense of networking and collaboration among the participants.
The meeting was considered highly successful, both in terms of participation and the educational impact it generated. Attendees reported having gained new knowledge about the use of biopesticides and organic management strategies, as well as a greater understanding of the resources available within the project. Furthermore, the in-person nature of the event facilitated networking among the participating farms and significantly contributed to disseminating the project's results within the WWOOF community. Overall, the Multiplier Event fully fulfilled its knowledge transfer function, strengthening the project's visibility and promoting its adoption in real agricultural contexts.
