The project aims to analyze educational needs to ensure VET professionals can meet the demands of modern agricultural enterprises that incorporate new technologies and sustainability standards. This analysis can inform changes and additions to VET curricula. Furthermore, the developed online platform and dissemination activities are expected to create a demand for new or improved VET programs focused on sustainable pest management, potentially leading to new curricula tailored to industry and labor market needs.

A core objective of the project is to support farmers in adopting biopesticides as a sustainable alternative to conventional pesticides. By increasing understanding and knowledge among VET students, educators, and farmers, the project anticipates a greater uptake of biopesticides. This shift aims to reduce the reliance on conventional pesticides and their associated negative environmental and health impacts.

The educational requirements analysis within the project is expected to identify best practices for the effective and safe use of biopesticides. This will lead to the creation of guidelines and recommendations for VET students and farmers to follow. The online educational platform will further reinforce these best practices by promoting sustainable pest management strategies.
